Toonerville in the early print media advertising field
Toonerville Collector's Club
Fontaine Fox was quick to grasp the idea of selling his product, The Toonerville Folks, to the advertising print media.  In this section we will produce some examples from the various companies that used his talents to sell their products. We have already mentioned Coca Cola as a prime advertiser in the Toonerville Folks section of this web site.  The Coca Cola Company probably spent more on Fox's art than any other singular company.

On the following pages you will find some examples of advertisements in which the Toonerville Folks, or even Fontaine Fox himself, were featured.  In most cases, these are extensions of the cartoon strip the Toonerville Folks and we hope you find them enjoyable.
